Alafia Lighted Boat Parade
You’re invited to experience the holidays Florida style with the 39th Alafia Lighted Boat Parade on Saturday, December 2, 2023! Welcome Santa as he arrives by water then cheer on your favorite decorated boats completely decked out for the holidays as they travel up the beautiful Alafia River! Everyone is welcome! There is no charge to attend the event.

5 PM - 7 PM Festivities include:

Photos with Santa - Santa arrives by boat.

Riverfront viewing of the parade

Indoors:
Chili Cook Off - $5 to taste and vote for 1st, 2nd, & 3rd place! Prizes for the winners!
Food available for purchase. 
After Party (8-10 PM) at River’s Edge Bar & Grill, 6226 Ohio Ave, Gibsonton:
Best Decorated Boats will be announced with prizes sponsored by River’s Edge Bar & Grill.
Event proceeds benefit Friends of County Parks and the FishHawk-Riverview Rotary Club Foundation which addresses the alleviation of poverty, illiteracy, hunger and disease through local and global charitable organizations.
